What type of clients do we have on Office 365?
We have a number of businesses that use the Business Essentials features ranging from just 1 user to businesses with 25 users.
Some just use it for the Email as it comes with 50GB of Storage space, you can use your own domain name and it has an excellent Spam filter which removes a lot of unwanted Emails from your inbox. It also sync's across multiple devices such as smart phones, Outlook, Web client online so if you delete an Email on one device it will remove it across all device at the same time.
Some of our corporate clients have the Enterprise plan which is integrated with their local active directory, this has helped to reduce their hardware, support and disaster recovery costs, as the Emails and users data can be held in the cloud allowing for a more simplistic IT environment. Compio has supplied the licensing and assisted with the rollout and migration into the cloud.

A few key points:
Windows XP and Vista can't download the office 365 software such as Word and Excel, you can use the online software and separately installed copies of Office 2010.
Access is only in the Enterprise plans so if you need Microsoft Access then you should look at Enterprise or look at a separate copy of Access for those that need it.
SharePoint is limited to the number of objects in a site and the types of characters, length of file names and files extensions that it can sync. Very careful consideration needs to be made with a SharePoint deployment if you are thinking about using it as your Shared Cloud workspace.
